EZ-ON Lingual Retainer System
This system utilizes a custom made transfer tray, allowing for accurate placement of the wire. The tray is designed with escape channels leaving a presice amount of bonding material on each tooth.
Accurate casts of each arch is required for fabrication.
Placing the EZ-ON Lingual Tray System
Bonding material from a composite syringe is injected into the channel
depression for each tooth, on the wire side of the tray. The tray is then placed on the teeth with gentle pressure, allowing for excess material to escape through the escape channels. Allow to set.
Before removal of the tray, remove the excess bonding material with a burr. Gently pull the tray off the wire, which is now bonded to each tooth.
Options for the EZ-ON Lingual Tray System
PAR uses a multi-strand wire as our standard.
A slightly thicker wire may be requested.
A flat coaxial, or a standard round wire are other options.
The wire generaly is made from cuspid to cupid on the lingual surface, but 1-1, 2-2, and bicuspid to bicuspid are options as well. Labial wires may also be requested.
