Athletic Mouthguard
According to the American Dental Association, over 200,000 injuries are prevented every year by the use of athletic mouthguards.
The unique manufacturing technique allows the upper and lower arch to be protected by a one piece appliance. The appropriate articulation method provides comfort to the athlete, and helps prevent TMJ problems which could occur from a blow to the jaw during any sport event.
Mouthguards are trimmed according to the particular sport in which the athlete is involved , with sample guidelines illustrated on this page, and with modifications requested by the orthodontist.
Athletic Mouthguards are available in the following Flexiclear colors: red, yellow, green, purple, white, black, blue, and orange. Airholes or slots for breathing can be requested if the bite opening is sufficient. Also available in silicone. Single arch vacuum formed guards are also available from PAR for both the upper and lower arches, in a variety of colors.
