Acrylic hard night guard splints
< Flat Occlusal Plane
Also known as a hard nightguard, this splint
can be made for the maxillary or the mandibular
arch. The flat occlusal allows for a comfortable
position of the temporomandibular joint. This splint
is also used to prevent bruxing.
Occlusal Plane with Cuspid Rise >
This splint is the same as the Flat Plane Splint
with the exception of cuspid rise ramps to allow
occlusal lift when the patient slides into
lateral position.

< Anterior Repositioning Splint
Also known as the Pull Forward Splint Relation
this splint is used to recapture anteriorly displaced
discs. The maxillary splint is used for night wear.
The design brings the mandible into a protrusive
position. The lower splint achieves this position
with deep indexing of the upper cusp tips.
Gelb Splint >
This removable appliance is used to reposition the
mandible. It incorporates a lingual bar with posterior
acrylic coverage. The standard splint would include
one set of ball clasps.

This appliance can be made on the Maxillary, or the Mandibular arch. Covering the four anterior teeth, and only contacting the centrals of the opposing arch. This minimal contact allows the jaw to relax, minimize clenching, and help prevent bruxing.
